What is your question?
i went to a salvage yard and pulled a radiator from the same make and model car or so i thought because when i want to install the replacement to my utter disbelief and confusion it seams that the replacement radiator did not have inlet or outlet ports for the transmission cooling lines therefor my query is this dose a manual 1999 mercury cougar not have the same means of cooling trans fluid or am i just the proud owner of the only radiator for newer model vehicles on the planet with this (lets call it unique option.)

Hi looney: Yes there is a difference on automatic trans it has an inner cooler build into the radiator itself which keeps things cool for the unit. On manuel radiator and oil itself does the job alone. Good luck on your repair. Feel free to contact us with any other concerns. Sincerely Ultimate Performance Team
All *replacement* radiators come with the optional fittings, use them as needed .. The one you pulled is an original equipment radiator from a vehicle with 'manual shift' transmission.
thank you that's helps me and makes me feel stupid at the same time LOL but i learned something so not all bad now one more dumb question dose this mean i need a inner cooler also or do you think a aftermarket radiator with trans cooler line input would be the way to go
Replacement radiator best route.
