The convertible top is open on my 2013 SL550. I opened the trunk but now it will not close. The indicator light on the lower left side of the trunk is flashing. The partition is closed securely.

Hello, I would imagine that there is some kind of information that is preventing the trunk from closing - such as a convertible top that is not entirely stowed. This would be impossible for me to guess at here, though; you really have to get a hands on / eyes on look at this. There are also likely sensors involved that could be reading erroneous information; a diagnostic tool would be needed to check sensor information during the concern as well.
