I got code P0012 somethung to do with VTC Solenoid? How much is fix. Any recall?

P0012 cam position over retarded, there is no recall. Because it is a over retard on Bank 1 that sensor would be replaced from there the adaptation would be reprogrammed.

Worn timing chain also possible. BEST would be to have it checked by an experienced MB tech , BEFORE buying parts because of a code. Good luck.

Let a Benz tech look at it,most parts you can buy online,just make sure there Mercedes-Benz original parts,so much cheaper than the dealer and if you know an experienced mechanic let him do the work...I know some people also use after market parts too with great results,the choice is yours...
