if i drain the transmission fluid from the trans. pan how much fluid to fill it.

Fill plug is probably in the pan. It may need to be filled and checked while it's running with the plug out.A lift may be necessary , since it needs to be level. I guess you don't have the owners manual for fluid capacities (dumb question , right?).Possibly call the nearest dealer parts dept. buy the fluid from them , they'll sell you the right amount. AND it'll be the right fluid.
