Something is draining the battery (and killing it) at a rapid rate while car is turned off overnight. This happens even when I do NOT lock the doors or set the anti-theft system. If I give it a jump the next day, it will start but needs a serious charge. I now have gone through 2 new batteries and my mechanic says the alternator and starter are both working. This just happened with my brand new battery I had installed just 2 days ago. System is losing up to 3 amps per hour. Thoughts?
