How do you fix closed air duct in center console?

What is your question?

The air duct in the center console/arm rest is closed or shut. No air flows through the vents to the rear compartment. I pushed the button on the main control to allow air ventilation to the rear passengers, but no air will flow. What's the issue? How much to fix it?
