rocks shaking sound while driving lasting 10 seconds

just had both motor mounts for my engine replaced , then that eveing when i got the car back i was backing out of driveway and I heard what sounded like rocks being shaken for 10 seconds , a day later when getting on freeway the same sound again about 10seconds. sounds to be coming from the drivers side below steering wheel or inengine area??
