Transmission stuck in limp mode 2nd gear. How do I repair? What is part name?

What is your question?

Disconnect the battery problem went away for 20 minutes. I am confused on if its the speed sensor, the 02 sensor or tranny conductor plate thingy inside the tranny. Mechanic told me it the transmissions computer. Does this make sense to anyone?

Brake light Switch easy fix, you can do it yourself takes 15 mins tops. Happen to my 2000 ml320 and everyone was saying transmission but it was just a brake light switch.
