What is your question?
The check engine light turned ON and "ESP Malfunction see repair service" came on dashboard and car dose not accelerate. When the car is on and we leave the gear to Park or Neutral, the RPM oscillating and make hum hum hum noise. But we change the gear to D, or R, the car moves with very low speed but the acceleration does not work at all in any gear position. Also, is that safe to drive the car like that with no acceleration just 5 mph or less speed?

http://www.benzshops.com/1st-generation-mercedes-benz-cls-class-esp-malfunction The site lists two possible reasons for the malfunction. The first of which could be a faulty key. And the second is a sensor. Check out the site and take it to the shop. It sounds like yours may be the sensor.
Heck NO!!....What you going to do on a hill.? ....Sombody run over you!!....Have it towed to the shop and fixed!!
Thank you for the reply, but the answer I'm looking for is if someone can tell me how to turn the ESP sensor off so I can drive the car to the dealer instead of towing it. The car has an ESP button to turn it ON & off, but it appear it doesn't turn it off. The accelerator turned off for whatever reason, therefor I can't drive it.
Did you ever get your ESP issue resolved? I have the same thing happening to my 05 c240. I have had it in the shop 4 times with a certified Mercedes repair shop. It still does the ESP thing and won't accelerate so I put it in neutral and restart the car and put it back in drive. It's so annoying. I don't want to keep spending money to fix things that aren't the problem. I would be grateful to hear what resolved the ESP for you.
Im having exactly the same problem for mercedes benz c180 2003.
Pls how did you eventually get your benz fixed; my c230 is showing ESP malfunction and check engine it can not accelerate when you start ; it is just make sound hum, hum, hum and learned you had similar problem some months ago
