My tranny will stay in first and not shift to 2nd only when its cold ,,and

sometimes it will not go at all ,,have to shift in and out of park to get the gear to engage..have replaced bushings on shifter..tran has nvr been flushed,,they say you dont have to flush this model,,,,NEED HELP..do i need a new tranny???
