a person erased my codes on my car and the check engine light is still on

if the light is still on,then you have either another problem or the original problem was not corrected/fixed,and will NOT pass the smog/emissions test as long as the CEL light is still on. go to Autozone and have them read the code(s) and ask them to print it out for you,it's FREE!
