Occasionally I hear a clink sound in the rear of the car.

What is your question?

The clunk sound usually occurs shortly after I have put it in gear. I have also heard it when driving under 10 mph but not at a faster rate of speed. Has anyone else reported such a problem? Mercedes service center has not been able to address the problem.

Has a technician physically got in the car with you for a test drive? Sometimes another Mercedes dealer will be willing to put forth a better effort.

My 2011 CLS550 has the same problem. Its like a push then a clunk in the rear-end housing right after you let of the break pedal.
