does it lose its' pre-set memory? knowing that will help narrow down which circuit to check. Otherwise remove and check ALL pin connections for loose fit or damage and check any grounds for the radio.
This happened on my 09 several months ago and I took the advice from somewhere on the Web to disconnect the battery for a time (I don't remember how long, maybe 15 minutes?). That worked great. Unfortunately it started again a few days ago and this trick didn't work. If I find something else, I'll post here. In the meantime, it's a simple thing to try.
When you disconnect the battery does the system come back to normal, any thing special, that needs to be done., thanks Barry
Nothing is lost it runs for 30 seconds and cuts off for 6-7 seconds and restarts.
start looking for loose connections------- AND possibly check with dealer for any service bulletins regarding this symptom(any aftermarket shop , with good info source may also have this , but they have to PAY for it , so be prepared for a small fee). This IS a FACTORY radio , right??
This is a factory battery. Sounds like a software problem??
