When I turn my Air Conditioning on it starts smoking from the fuse box why?

Before the smoking problem started the A/C would go in and out some times it would be very cold and other time it would blow warm air and need to be reset. Now smoke start to come into the car from the fuse box. How do i fix this, what parts do I need, and where can I get them?
