Engine dies after coming to a stop, not every time, but does restart, fuel ?

What is your question?

194,000 miles, changed fuel filter, air and oil, CEL is on, engine does not always stop, no response from gas pedal, local shop could not read codes. I thinking fuel pump is going, going, gone at the worst time. Any suggestion?

don't know about your car,but mine thru no codes,when the pump went out.oh,it warned me,crank no start,but i didn't listen to my truck talking to me for a good while.i got lucky,mine quit in my driveway.if you don't hear the pump prime for 2 seconds,and then cut off with the key in the on position,it ain't starting.have fuel pressure tested.mine lasted 15 years and 303226 miles,original pump from factory.date on it 7-24-2000.2000 f150 4.6L.got 950 miles on new pump as of today.
