My MB is a 1988 300se with 14K miles .when timing belt needs replacement?

That car has a timing chain, if it is loose you should here some rattling noise.

no service required,should last the life of the engine,which would be a long,long,time for you with only 14K on it,average of 500 miles a year!!unless it rattles or breaks,which most likely won't happen.
