do they have timing belts or chains? Also is there a list somewhere that that tells all makes and years of vehicles and which have timing belts and which have chains.

Humm! let me guess at the ENGINE SIZE? Oh,never mind.2.3 and 3.0 both have chains! NO list,it tells you in your owners manual! no required service on the chain,unless noise/slapping/rattle occurs,or breaks.keep the oil changed.
