Engine quit driving like it jumped time and locked motor up starter wouldnt turn moror. But went to check it next day and starter would turn motor but sounded like it had jumped time but locked up again. Any ideas?

You forgot to post which engine is in the vehicle .... However - IF it has the V/6 - that is an *interference engine* - timing belt failure WILL cause internal engine damage. (Pistons coming in contact with the valves)
