What is your question?
I washed my Mazda 2000 protege 1.6 liter yesterday and I sprayed the motor a lil with the pressure washer. Now the car is somewhat jerking or sputtering when I'm at a light or stop sign. The check engine light has also started to blink on and off after I drive about twenty minutes straight. I pulled over last time and took the room fuse in and out and the check engine light went off. What do you guys think both problems are?
How long has your 2000 Mazda Protege had this problem?
Two days

Sorry - there is no protocol for water intrusion repair.
you can not pressure wash or spray water on these engines today, maybe in 1975 if you covered everything with plastic or tin foil! it may never be the same again and you should never drive it with the CEL light blinking! never heard of a room fuse? A Check Engine light that continually flashes while you are driving is serious and is a sign that the computer sees a problem that seriously risks damaging the catalytic converter which may result in an expensive repair or even may cause a fire!
