My car ran perfect. I replaced the timing belt tensioner, reassembled the motor, but now it runs on 2or3 cylinders. Timing, compression, spark, fuel all correct. Everything is correct.

I've tried different crank position sensors but cannot locate the cam position sensor which sounds like the proble. Im lost

Why do you think these other components failed while you were working on the timing belt? .. *IF* .. "timing, compression, spark, fuel all correct " It would NOT be misfiring! .. Re-check your work starting with the spark plug wires to be SURE the *firing order* is correct .. Strongly suspect plug wires out of order! .. Google > 95 Protege firing order and have a look at the results page .. Good luck with it!

Firing order is correct. When I was taking everything off the engine to replace the tensioner pulley, I removed the plug wires and cap as one unit. The wires never came disconned from the distributor cap
