That's more indicative of rear DRUM brakes.... It's got rear DISC brakes doesn't it???.... Possible surface rust on the disc rotors I suppose..... Which will form quickly in humid climates!!!... After a couple brake applications....wipes rust away!.... Any rear brake work done lately?
Disc brakes pretty much can't do this unless there's something very wrong with it. I believe the parking brakes on that car are small drum brakes inside the rotors, more likely there may be something happening in there. It's under warrantee so take it to a dealer. Whatever it is could lead to a catastrophic failure at any time.
rear disk no work done 2000 mi. why do brake's freeze stuck solid day after rain.
