Was told this by reputable service tech who did recent service. Am noticing a little dripping from steering, but nothing from pan. Steering functions well & engine oil doesn't get low (yet). Should I trust service folks or do they commonly bs on such things? Suggestions? Thx!!

I believe I would wait until I saw evidence of leakage FIRST! .. Oil or fluid on ground where truck had been parked and at least a noticeable or detectable deficit in fluid//oil levels with regular checks ..... Now that is .. > IF it were me! .. ANY descent vehicle should easily go over 100k miles without doing anything to it except routine service//maintenance!
