Manual transmission difficult getting into 1st gear

What is your question?

After stopping, it is often, but not always difficult to get into 1st gear. If i raise the clutch pedal just an inch, it will go right in. Truck has 130,000 miles. What would be wearing on the clutch to cause this ?

Difficult to say without *hands-on* evaluation .. Possible pilot bearing is trying to keep the input shaft rotating even with clutch pedal depressed - that’s only a guess of course.

Try shifting into 2nd gear then immediately into 1st..
