how do I adjust the adjust the clutch? and location of the linkage to adjust?

Clutch 'release' adjustment is required only IF the pedal *free travel* is greater that 3/4 to 1 inch .. To determine how much free travel the pedal has > grasp clutch pedal (by hand) and push it in until resistance if felt .. That is clutch pedal *free travel * .. Usually if there is excessive free travel, it is difficult to shift INTO gear while vehicle is sitting still, NOT when shifting to another gear while driving down the road! .. That normally indicates worn 'internal' transmission parts .. Be sure NOTHING is impeding clutch pedal full travel movement like an additional floor mat etc..
