I have a rattling or clunking sound from underneath the vehicle sounds like it's coming from the transmission area mostly happens upon acceleration also have trouble shifting through gears please help

Engine off .. Smack catalytic converter with rubber mallet to see if catalyst has broken up inside... Continue until noise is heard/located... In ANY event - it most likely needs to go to local auto repair shop! http://repairpal.com/repair-shops
