when the key is turned to ON,NOT CRANK,the fuel pump should come on for 2 seconds and turn off with 35-45 psi at schrader valve.if it does not come on,check the fuel pump fuse and relay for power.if they are ok,don't forget about the magic button(inertia switch tripped) if the truck has been bumped or hit in a wreck or hit pot hole in the road, the switch may have tripped,if so then push the red button down,so power will get to the fuel pump.
I checked the interim switch had the fuel pump fuse or delay checked it was still good have crossed over a wire where the delay fuse goes fuel pump kicks on but won't turn on with fuse in it or turning the key on
when you turn the key to on,the FUEL PUMP RELAY should CLICK.do you have a volt meter?put all back like it was originally.pull the fuel pump fuse out,CHECK THAT FUSE AGAIN,if it's good check the socket where the fuse plugs in,should have battery voltage there.that fuse stays HOT AT ALL TIMES.if no power at the fuel pump fuse socket then check all the fuses,i think you have one or more fuses blown.REPLY BACK for more info and the results from the voltage checks.
