What is your question?
so i'm 17 and this truck was my first. you gotta know what this truck means to me then. a little while back i could drive to the next city back and fourth easy as can ever be but recently my truck is not wanting to drive like it used to. i had a mechanic and my own family try to figure it out and we narrowed it down to something backing it up. that whole thing led to a couple of my vacuum lines busting and having holes in them. honestly i dont know whats up with it and i need more advice.

I suspect the catalytic converter is stopped up or just about so! .. Best I can remember it bolts right up to the exhaust manifold.. It's that big round thing that is most likely stopped up inside .. Now it can be removed and cleaned out then re-installed but that's up to you.. I'd be willing to bet that's the problem!! .. Get you some PB Blaster and spray the bolts really good and let them sit for awhile , then spray em some more !
the mechanic that i took it to took off the front catalytic converter and cleaned everything inside that out. the honeycomb stuff that was in there was all messed up from the blockage and that still didnt seem to fix the whole thing.
Why didn't that mechanic, *that you never mentioned*, fix it then??? Good luck kid!
"i had a mechanic and my own family try to figure it out and we narrowed it down to something backing it up." i might be young but im not stupid. and i literally just said that it didnt fix it. seriously.
