So i have this 1987 B2200 Mazda truck and i'm not getting any power to it when i push the accelerator.

the mechanic that i took it to took off the front catalytic converter and cleaned everything inside that out. the honeycomb stuff that was in there was all messed up from the blockage and that still didnt seem to fix the whole thing.

Why didn't that mechanic, *that you never mentioned*, fix it then??? Good luck kid!
