What causes the failure of ignition distributor.

What is your question?

Problem started after changing spark plugs. Cranking but could not start, only to start after 30minutes. Drove to town n the problem starts again.changed spark plugs and put the old one. Crank and start after an hour.drove back home and the problem starts again, just left it lyk that. Next morning it was 1kick and go. Things were normal the whole day. Again in town cranked but couldn't start. Left it in town and come back the following morning,1kick and go. Drove home through a refilling station and the problem starts again...and only to start after 1hr. Drove home and it started cutting off. Always on and off with the help of ignition key. Finally, cranking but could not start again. Changed the distributor cap, checked all electrical wires and the computer box and ignition key, once turned ignition key on fuel pump started working well. The aforementioned parts were okey. We changed the whole ignition distributer....cranked and it started well but only for 2minutes.engine cuts off and that was for good. Tested the computer box and ignition distributor separately on another car and performed well. Returned them back on my car and nothing happened. The elect currency was being supplied to the distributor but still could not give a spark with the help of the ignition key...once turned the distributor rotter with hands its gives a spark. What could be the problem and how to solve it. Thank you

Possible crank sensor, ignition coil,, your timing belt may be defective now etc... is the distributor turning while cranking? ("Once turned the distributor rotor by hand" and it sparked???) Probably need to consider letting a mechanic check it out hands-on!
