What is your question?
2006 Mazda 6 i Car only starts in neutral. The light around the parking symbol "P" on dashboard does not light up. I had the neutral safety switch replaced with a dealership part. I'm not sure what could be the problem?

WHO and HOW was the new switch installed? Do you KNOW for sure that it is installed and adjusted properly? TESTED to prove it? Adjustment would be my first suspicion.
Good Morning Ruben, sounds like you will need some testing to the system to find the cause of the new neutral safety switch failing. Our shop, Larson's Service in Peabody, would be happy to test and resolve the problem for you. You can set an appointment online or give us a call at 978.530.1111 www.larsonsservice.com
I was able to buy the part myself because my friend works at a auto shop. I bought it at a Mazda dealership. I originally bought one from autozone and had it put in but didn't work at all. So I had it done with a dealership part and it worked perfectly for about a week and then it stop working less and less each day like it had to start with. It was replaced by licensed technician at an auto shop.
