how do I get heat instead of cold air out the blower

As per your other post .. There is not enough coolant flowing through the heater core .. IF it has a heater control (cut off) valve under hood - have that checked for proper operation .. IF that is ok .. Have the heater core itself flushed out - by someone that knows how it's done!
