Why wont my car fully come on I have jumper cables in and my radio comes on

I have a 2017 Lincoln MKZ I came out and nothing would start my key couldn’t even lock my door I’m getting a jump and I tried to fully start it and i only hear like a click or lika a exhale sound but my dashboard and radio comes on
What makes this problem better or worse?
When I put my foot on the break and start it seems to loose battery a little bit but still partially comes on
