First step is to read the responses to your other post , it ain't gonna change!! IF you don't have much 'in-depth' mechanical experience , you are asking for trouble. This is not do-it-yourself friendly. Can you reply to THIS post , and tell me if you have EVER done a timing chain on ANY engine before?? Let alone an engine that uses three chains?? May sound rude , but I'm just trying to save you from junking the car or buying an engine! Good luck!
Yes I have done a lot of Timing belt and chains remove and replaced engines I have my own little a shop . Just trying to find out if anyone out there have ever done one . It's said that would be easy to drop the cradle
That , my friend , helps a lot!! .. Now that we got a response , maybe 'pushrod' will chime in with an answer , dropping the whole thing and getting the extra room sounds like a reasonable idea to me. If I didn't mention it before , youtube may have some useful stuff for you , but I have always found it best to have the factory service manual for torque and alignment mark info. Give another day or two for some more feedback.
