Why do car windows go down, in my 2018 Lincoln MKX, without touching controls?

Lock and close all doors - - now using the remote - push and HOLD the unlock button down for 5 seconds - what happens? That is the auto open feature - supposedly designed to let hot air escape as you walk up to your vehicle....... Some-thing is inadvertently pushing that button while the remote is in your possession - possibly something in a purse or pocket. The owner’s manual will explain further. Happy motoring.
