How long has your 2016 Lincoln MKX had this problem?
Since buying it 2 months ago.
I think this system utilizes steering wheel controls - it is not uncommon at all for vehicle operators to inadvertently depress these control buttons and change various settings. You should take the time to familiarize yourself with all of the control features the vehicle has! Good luck!
