What is your question?
My 2016 Lincoln MKX came with 21" wheels for which tires are very difficult to find and expensive. Can I change them to 20" wheels without major issues? Of course the speedometer will be off . 65 mph would actually be 62.79 . Warranty issues?

Just use *higher profile* - 20†tires that will be equal to the circumstance of the current 21†tires .. Tire circumstances are available at tire store or online.
245 / 50 / R20 was a tire size offered on other variations of this vehicle. This represents a tire size acceptable by the processors of this vehicle. However, $60 a tire difference probably doesn't resolve the cost of 4 new wheels. I would recommend sticking with what belongs on the vehicle, as pushrod has said.
A BIG issue came to light last weekend when I encountered a pothole that left me with two flat tires . After calls to three tire suppliers in the Columbus Ohio area I was unable to find anyone with R21s and thus opted for a AAA tow back home . A trip further from home could leave me sidelined for several days (it has been three days now for my local dealer) whereas a more common sized tire could have me back on the road . THAT is what prompted my inquiry .
You should also consider the *cost* of a new set of wheels. Will it *eventually* be worth the cost difference to replace the wheels vs the price of just purchasing the correct size tires?
