my interior lights comes on and goes off all the time, running down the battery

Have it scanned so live data can be viewed.... Possible door ajar switch.... Scanner will show & tell... Scanner,, not code reader!.. Cost too much to guess!.... Gotta test!!!... Reply back after scan.. Couple of tricks you can do!!
