This info is available from http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info under repair guides * TRANSAXLE REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Continental 2000-2002 Transaxle Removal & Installation NOTE Disable the air suspension before raising the vehicle. The switch is located on the left side of the luggage compartment. 1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section. 2. Turn the air suspension switch to the OFF position. 3. Attach a powertrain support fixture to the engine lifting eyes. 4. Drain the transaxle fluid. 5. Remove or disconnect the following: Battery and battery tray Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor connector Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor connector Air cleaner assembly Transaxle control harness connector Transaxle range sensor Turbine shaft speed sensor connector Shift cable Transaxle oil cooler lines Front wheels Suspension height sensors Wheel speed sensors Outer tie rod ends Lower ball joints Stabilizer bar links Halfshafts Heated Oxygen (HO 2 S) sensor connectors Dual converter Y-pipe Starter Left, right and rear engine support insulators Subframe Transaxle housing cover Torque converter Transaxle flange bolts 6. Separate the transaxle from the engine and lower it from the vehicle
