what is the fix ?

Turn the switch off, wait about thirty seconds, then turn the switch on. Get into the car turn the key to run (you do not have to start the car) and shift to drive, then apply full throttle. Then put it back into park, turn the key off and exit the vehicle. It should drop to normal curb height at that time. If not then you may need someone with an NGS or IDS to scan this.
