when i try to put rear window down the light on door goes dim and window doesn't

Indicative of failing window motor! .. Obviously voltage IS being sent to the motor as you stated light dims... That pretty much eliminates all other electrical componets... Except window motor... These window 'regulators' rarely fail.

Sounds like the window motor is failing.
