can i run a wire from switch to red wire into fuel pump

What is your question?

i have no power to fuel pump when turning key on i replaced the fuel pump and checked switch (switch is good)

You say you checked the switch, which one, ignition or INERTIA or both? IF power at inertia switch it also has a fuel pump driver module which may be defective.
