Problem happens sometime every day then won't happen for a week, am concerned about the oil warning light, it not the out of oil light but the low oil light. this happens randomly normally when car is cold or stopped in trafiice may stay off for 1 to 40 miles then come on, also happens sometimes when I make a turn
What makes this problem better or worse?
it's worst when the engine in cold, in the morning normally but can stay on for 40 miles or more
How long has your 2002 Lexus SC430 had this problem?

Hello, all these items can relate to individual component concerns or could be related to circuitry within the instrument cluster itself. The best thing to do would be to first have base oil pressure tested with a manual gauge, especially since this is your main concern. Once you can verify that oil pressure is actually in an acceptable range when the problem is occurring, you can rest easier with that. Since you have multiple instrumentation concerns at the same time, I would lean towards the though that there is an instrumentation or wiring or network concern rather than an actual problem with each individual area.
