Car won’t drive . Battery doesn’t stay charged and main computer isn’t communicating with VSC system. I was told I need an inverter . Than another mechanic told me to change fuses, and hybrid battery? I don’t know there was a plastic burn smell when I lost steering and gas pedal functions. Recall 13V39600 is like what I’m experiencing. I have 107,000 on 400h. If the inverter is the problem and it cost $9k I can’t fix it. So I’m looking to sell it for $5k if I can get it on a 2008 400h Lexus it’s been well maintained on services needed on it .
What makes this problem better or worse?

I see a couple of “mechanics” have suggested what the problem may be - - However I do not see anything about diagnostics testing to confirm what the problem is. I suggest having the required testing performed to prove what has failed before any other actions are taken. Good luck!
We can make all kinds of assumptions here online - that has no beneficial value at all. **HANDS-ON** TESTING IS REQUIRED.
