What is your question?
3 weeks ago, my son was stopped by the cops with Tail lights not working. He went to Autozone & purchased all the bulbs he needed. The lights still did not come on. He brought the vehicle home & I found the fuse was fried. I did some research & found out that aftermarket bulbs supposedly have a higher wattage than the OEM bulbs. I purchased the correct OEM bulbs & installed all new bulbs & replaced the fuse. I checked the tail gate harness for loose or fried wires & did not find any. Earlier that week I purchased a light failure sensor module from the junkyard but did not install it because the lights worked after installing a new fuse & new bulbs. Lights came on for 10 mins. I drove the truck to deliver it to him and we checked the lights before he took the truck & the lights would not come on & the fuse was fried. Last night I tested the brakes & all the tail/brakes lights came on since they have a dual function. All the new bulbs work. Fuse now blows @ start & w the light switch
What makes this problem better or worse?
Tail light fuse blows during start & when turning on the head lights no dash warning

‘IF’ vehicle is wired for towing - that needs to be closely inspected too.
