engine is racing, almost like the accelerator is pressed

I figured it out. In the back center of engine compartment, 2 cables operate a spring loaded wheel/pullie type mechanism, most likely directly to the fuel injection system.. 1 cable from the right, one from the left. The one cable on the right appears to be from the accelator. The cable on the on the left, got misaligned and fell off of this half wheel or pullie which then allow the accelator cable to pull more hence the racing engine. I have no ideal how I found this because the cable that slipped of this pullie was on the under side of the wheel and it is/was hard to spot. Very very easily to fix; I put the cable back on the pullie did a small adjustment....FIXED it! Sorry I dont know the technical terms but if you need a better explaination email me. Gjward63@gmail.com
