What is your question?
Looking at two Lexus LS 430s both are now 12+ years old, both under 45,000 miles. Neither has had timing belt changed. Opinion/Experience: Does the belt need to be changed due to age and possible hardening of rubber, etc.? Thanks! -- Rick

The manufacture recommends replacing it every 7-9 years due to age. If you are going to keep the car it is inevitable to change it, so just do it! The last thing you want is for the belt to break and damage the engine.
agree with #1 1 some dealers rec every 6 yrs or between 60 and 90k miles
