My tachometer stopped working.

What is your question?

I was having intermittent problems with the tach guage working. Now it quite all together. When it wass intermittent, it seemed like when the car was cold, it worked ok. When it got hot outside it wouldn't work until I drove it for five minutes I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Does the tps have anything to do with it and would that set the check engine light?

What makes this problem better or worse?
