Bought a new terminal cause it broke. Still didn't keep charge. Bought an alternator and the same problem. Any ideas??

what condition is the battery in? Is it actually charging with the replacement alternator? (TESTED with appropriate equipment) or at least monitored with voltmeter for at least 13.9-14.5V output at idle -no loads (all accessories off)?
