What is your question?
The car goes into a limp mode and the only acceleration possible is with the pedal all the way down. It seems to happen more often when the gas is low but still happens when it is full. The only way for the car to work again is to pull over and clear the code.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving in manual mode seems to make it better.
How long has your 2004 Lexus IS300 had this problem?

A professional quality scan tool is capable of exhibiting live data so the correlation between APPS and TBPS can be viewed on live data screen.. This testing is invaluable and is highly recommended. It is also possible for foreign objects or ‘coking’ residue to prevent proper throttle body response. As you can see this will require *hands-on* testing / evaluation by qualified personnel.
