or does the entire condensor need to be replaced

Leaking refrigerant into the atmosphere can be illegal depending on local laws and regulations. Not to mention that if you inhale refrigerant it can also be dangerous to your health. Upon opening the a/c lines moisture enters and if not evacuated and correct amount of "pull" is used on the system there can be premature failure in the a/c compressor which will be an expensive part to replace.
i am not a mechanic but am pretty good with doing my own work. i just need to know what im getting into before starting. i wanted to replace the drier. can that be done or does the entire condensor need to be replaced?
Do you have the proper tools & equip.for A/C work? Vacuum pump, recharging equip.proper oil to add to the system? Yes i think you can change the just the drier if not an integral part.
