01 gs 300 overheated and now won't start

Hello, a guess on what happened is that the plastic bag prevented cooling system air flow, making the engine coolant remain too hot, and possibly overheating the engine. If this happens, you can cause major internal engine damage. It is impossible to say via this forum, but my guess is that something damaging has occurred and will need a solid hands on diagnosis in an effort to find a repair direction.
